Is BOTOX® Cosmetic Treatment Right for You?

BOTOX® Cosmetic has been the most popular non-surgical aesthetic procedure for seven years running. It is the only product of its kind that is approved by the FDA for stubborn frown lines between the brows. It targets what are known as dynamic wrinkles, which are caused by repeated muscular contractions such as frowning and squinting. BOTOX® Cosmetic is a purified protein and works by relaxing the muscles that caused these dynamic wrinkles, giving your face a more relaxed and refreshed appearance. Best of all, regular use of this simple treatment will soften expression lines and help “stop the clock” on the development deepening of lines. In addition, the treatment is so quick and easy that you can often have it done over lunch. Results are long-lasting — usually up to 4 months, although results vary by individual.

Heres' what you need to get started:
  • Prior to your appointment, consider your treatment goals.
  • During your appointment, discuss these treatment goals with your doctor.
  • At your appointment discuss your treatment goals and ask our doctor if BOTOX® Cosmetic is right for you.
  • See the results: Improvement may begin within 24-48 hours and your results may increase during the first week after treatment and can continue to improve up to 30 days after treatment.

Botox injections are a fast procedure - usually 10 minutes for the entire treatment.

You can receive injections with BOTOX® Cosmetic every 3 to 4 months to help you maintain the results as long as you don't have any serious allergic reactions or other significant side effects.
